There has long been a literary tradition of writing books as a response to other books. Marion Zimmer Bradley wrote The Mists of Avalon to show King Arthur from a feminist point of view. In response to the Mohammed cartoons, an Arab newspaper asked for Holocaust cartoons, prompting an Israeli newspaper to ask Jews to draw even more offensive Holocaust cartoons. Arthur Miller wrote The Crucible in response to anti-communist hysteria while his former best friend Elia Kazan (who testified and named names) directed On The Waterfront, a film about exposing corruption. From what I heard, the two had not reconciled and died hating each other. The comic book series "Liberality for All" presents a dystopian world dominated by left wing ideologies. Newsarama writes that, "Liberality For All is either a satire of Liberalism, a parody of Conservativism, or just a mad joke, and Mackey is laughing at everyone. Which makes Mackey either a genius or a lunatic – and he freely admits, the Liberality For All audience may still be split on the final verdict. " For this prompt, lets make a left-leaning answer to this book and give the reader a dystopian world drawn from the right wing ideologies of George W. Bush and his conservative base. Or, similarly, right wing elements within your own country (the British National Party being the only one I can think of off the top of my head).
