David Mamet said, "A good film script should be able to do completely without dialogue."
The comic medium is also a primarily visual one.
From the kinetic battle scenes of DragonBallZ to the two page splashes of We3 to the subtle tinges of character emotions and atmosphere of American Splendor, the visuals of any story make the storytelling every bit as much as writing can. Or, on the contrary, if there is too much of a conflict between visuals and story, an otherwise promising story can fall flat on its face and pretty artwork can go nowhere (e.g. Peter Milligan and Salvador Larrocca on the X-Men story "Golgotha").
In this prompt, you are to write the first five pages of a comic book story using only visuals. If you go further then that then feel free to use dialogue but set the stage using only visuals.
This will help you to use the visuals to their maximum effect in your comic stories and, with the visuals used to convey most of the information, the dialogue can be used to a greater effect as well.
