Nolan J. Werner presents L. Frank Baum's Daphne of Oz
To make it distinct I'm changing Dorothy's name to Daphne. I'm basically taking all the stories with Dorothy and putting them in to a single continuous comic.
Publishing like 10-15 pages per issue of PT.

curious -- what is the benefit of changing it from Dorothy to Daphne?
Are these going to be straight adaptations, or are you going to be giving it your own spin?
You also may want to take a look at other Oz comics out there. I know there was a photo-comic that came out last year. And I think there's some goth-y kinda version. I feel like there's another out there, too.
This isn't to say you shouldn't do it, of course -- I just want to make sure your voice is distinct among them.

You've got to go full blown NC-17 for this to get any attention, considering what Dave said, that there's so many projects out there of a similar nature. Though, some of Baum's later works are often neglected. Could you, perhaps, look to them for source material as opposed to the first two books?

I was thiking about doing the later stuff.
Honestly, I am putting this on the backburner. I have a full slate. But I have a very cool adaptation/original project that I may try to pull off in a later issue.
