PROMPT #5: Imitate another creator's style

There is a maxim that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

In this regard, try out a story using the voice (or as close as you can to imitating the voice) of another, established sequential creator.

The best people for an exercise like this would be creators that have a very strong and distinct creative voice.

This prompt will help you not only look at things from another angle, it will show you how to borrow and meld other styles with your own.

I thought of a new direction for this.

You could also try imitating another person's style outside the comic medium and then doing their style as a comic story.

And I do know that the whole auteur theory is questioned among film critics. But its still influential so lets go with it. And I tried to group them by medium but there's a lot of crossover.

Again, it would work best with someone with a voice you can see a mile away.
