I posted a chapter of a fan fiction that I did picking up where the NOMAD comic book ended...with him in cryogenic freezing. Head over to the Fan Fic section and check it out. I'm in need of criticism so I know what I'm doing wrong and what I can do to make my writing better.
Any feedback would be useful.
Thanks,
S.J. Mitchell

I don't think I'm familiar with the character at all.
I posted the same question in your fan-fic before I realized this thread was here.
(Also, Nolan, you should really move my Marvel Zombies fan-script into that copyrighted forum...)

Jack Monroe (a.k.a.: Nomad) was Captain America's 3rd Bucky after he found a formula for the super soldier serum in some old Nazi war files that he found. He was used off and on based on how Marvel needed him to appear in Captain America books as Bucky and finally he broke off into his own series: NOMAD. During that time he traveled America searching for his place in the world (almost like Bruce Banner without HULK). Along the way he fought against the common criminal, gangster and thug and handling real life issues unlike other superheroes.
There would be an occasional supervillain/hero appearance (probably to help boost sales) by the likes of Deadpool and Domino. At one point early in the series, Jack meets a drug addicted hooker with a child. After helping her turn her life around the woman realizes that she isn't fit to raise her daughter and leaves her in Jack's care. The baby becomes Jack's "Bucky" and he takes care of her from that point on. The series ended with Jack beginning to suffer from psychotic episodes as a result of the Nazi super soldier serum, causing S.H.E.I.L.D. to come after him...seeing him as a potential threat.
Realizing that Jack Monroe has really done nothing illegal, that cannot imprison him. Instead they placed him in cryogenic freezing in hopes that one day they could release him to help America once again.
That's the long and short of NOMAD. It was a good series and although it ended years ago, I have the complete collection still and every now and then I'll pull it out and read it.

one keyword to fan fiction is...fiction. I know they killed him, that doesn't mean I have to like it. I was more interested in critique on my writing...not choice of subject.
