What kind of tools do you use? Most of your stuff is really clean.
Also, in DEAD INSECT ENTRANCE 4, you mis-spelled the word "briefing."
If DeviantArt was easier to navigate, I would've read DEAD OR ALIVE but that would have taken me years.

I use a brush, mostly the same size 7-8, I never use pens.
I knew about the erronous spelling, I just wasn't bothered to clean it up afterwards.
And yeah, it is a bit tough to read through the comics, can't be helped really. I shouls really get some kind of website off the ground that enables a better navigation system.

I love the direction your going in. Your figures look a little stiff, trying loosening thier poses. Also, make some interesting environments for your figures. The environment should be as interesting as the figures.

Love how you draw your people, and the expressionism in the comics pages... But not really something I'd buy yet... I probably missing some deep hidden meaning, but all those pages that use the same image over and over -- that just looks really lazy to me. And it's not like it's even all that experimental... I've seen lots of people do it...
But your faces and figures are AMAZING. I really do love them.

I use repetition of images to emphasise a moment to come. If you think of the opening of Orson Welles A Touch Of Evil, with that ongoing tracking shot, finally cutting away to the car explosion: I'm trying to acheive the same kind of dramatic results. When theres alot of visual playfullness with panels and composition on each and every page, you water down the ideas of the story and amplify too much spectacle for the reader to care about plot or character. "With a clumsy telling tis nothing but sound and fury". Or maybe I'm just trying to justify my overt laziness.

I love the direction your going in. Your figures look a little stiff, trying loosening thier poses. I would agree with the pin-ups being stiff looking but in FM's Dead or Alive comic the figures were much looser due to the brushwork and created a sense of movement and very expressive. But the whole repetition of images, I think it would work better if you used them sparingly or other people may think you really ARE lazy lol. But overall, I like it.

I really like the style. It reminds me of Ghost World and other indie comics that are the reason I want to be a comic book artist.
I would learn Photoshop. I'm doing that now and it makes this kind of flat black work look better. I think your blacks could be blacker, though and photoshop could help you. I might scale these down a bit too...they are a little big. Little stuff really.
I'm impressed that you use only a brush, I use pens or a nib for my comics. Brushes are tough for me. So yay for you. But I like this. I think I'll watch you.
