Hah. Yes I did. I'm just lurking there, for the moment. Not yet a member of the board. Thats cool. I don't post at Barbelith all that often but i think its a cool board. Pass the word on to any other comic creators or people you think might be interested in it that you know. Are you an M2F transsexual or F2M?

Hi there. I once made a breif exchange with Steve Wilson, a popular pactitioner of chaos magic, after this bookshop seminar on the studies of Wilhem Reich. He was endorseing phylocybin to me and my girlfriend at the time, maudlin from all the free red wine from the outset of the talk. I've never really delved too deep into sigils and actual practice, but I've read the Invisibles a good number of times and been interested in mysticism and alternative realities in general for a long time from afar.

I'm sure that there are more then a few people who would combine mysticism and comic book writing/art. Honestly, I find the mystical character of a lot of that kind of fiction a great strength.

Are you an M2F transsexual or F2M? I'm M2F. Cool. Diversity is always welcome here. Honestly, I'd like to see some comic stories that question normative gender roles.

My name's Giuseppa and I'm currently in the process of writing and illustrating a story for the " Stripsearchers" scheme running in the UK (spearheaded by John McCrea and Hunt Emerson). I'm also a BA Vis Comm student going into my final year at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design Cheers to Nolan for giving me a link to the board!

Soon we will be the place for sequential creators. Insert evil laugh here.

Sequential creators do need a good fishmonger jayvee BTW, everyone here should spread the word about the site to at least one other comic creator they know (assuming they know more then 1).

Hey everyone, this looked like the best place for a new member to introduce themselves...so here it is.
I love writing, but mostly for my own purposes. I've always wanted to publish something, but I have a bad habit of not completing a work before something else strikes me as more interesting to write about. I've never taken a writing class and fly soley by the seat of my pants while telling a story. While having dabbled in some science fiction I mostly enjoy putting comic book stories in novel form. I think there is so much potential for comic book characters that can't sell comics...their stories are good enough I think to provide more background such as the Jack Monroe character (a.k.a.: NOMAD) in the Marvel Universe. I have written fan fiction of Jack Monroe and it doesn't get read very much because of how long it is. I think most people that join fan fiction sites are just there for the "quick fix" and want action up front and no set up, backstory or characterization.
But anyways I've been looking for a way to network and make contacts in this field of work. I'm excited to explore this site and maybe meet some new friends and professional acquaintances.
