I'm looking for some feedback on my artwork (like the subj says haha), so please check this out! cartoongirl7.deviantart.com/gallery/NOTE: Please look at the most recent 5 pieces only, because the rest are ones I drew from a long time ago. Constructive suggestions, critiques, comments...anything is welcomed! Thanks for your time

You have good colors, and I echo the sentiment about Crimson. The angel guy at the beginning, too.
Your style, while manga-inspired, still manages to be whimsical and fun.
I'm curious, are you planning to do anything with your art?
If you're posting here, I assume you have some interest in comic books, but is it anything more than passing?

I really really want put my art out there for people to notice, and maybe get a commission or two, but I really don't know how to. I can't sell my art because I'm only 15 and can't register for a selling permit

Do you have any sequentials? I'd really be curious how those are.
I like your style, its very elegant.
Selling permit? You need a permit to sell things? Since when?

Wish I could make some kind of job out of it, but it's hard to get recognized enough for that to happen. The farthest I've gotten to is commissions to friends And yeup, here in California a permit is needed to sell things (at conventions and such). I can't get one till 3 yrs later -_-

You don't need no stinkin permit. Just do it anyway, cover your tracks well enough and no one needs to know what you're doing.

But I'm currently really busy preparing SATs and stuff, since the test is coming up pretty soon, so I probably won't have enough time (and energy) Thanks again for offering though! And about the permit, I do sell stuff w/o it, but I meant as in selling at bigger places such as anime conventions and websites. Other than that, I sell right ahead w/o permit =D

Well your style is fine, but the pictures I looked at in your gallery were all a little static. Pretty much everyone was just standing there like they were having their photograph taken. Can I suggest you get some practice in at action poses and the like, or at least try shots from a different angle such as looking down on the subject from slightly above? Foreshortening is a very important discipline to practice in comic illustration and there isn't really much in the stuff you've shown so far, so it would be useful to see how well you manage it.
Apart from this minor criticism, everything else looks fine. Keep on practicing and I'm sure you'll be very much in demand as a freelancer in a few years' time. Well, provided that the current fad for manga-style art keeps up anyway. Me, I don't like manga art all that much, there's far too much of it around and in far too much of it the characters just don't feel individual enough.

I scored in the 85th percentile verbal and I was up for like 24 hours before. Just learn all your Latin and Greek roots. Math, on the other hand, well that makes no sense at all. And regarding the permit, you mgiht not need one for out of state conventions. They might have different rules. Check the rules for ones in Vegas, or, if that fails, Tijuana.

Easy for Einstein might not necessarily be easy for George Bush. Not making historical figure to poster comparisons, but some people do better on tests than others and it's not always about what you know or how much you sleep. That's the thing with test-tests that always bothered me. Essay tests, while so much harder to grade, are so much more indicative of how well someone understands a subject.

I probably could have had a much higher score if I took it when I was actually prepared. Big secret for college though, if you get like 60 hours of credit (semester hours) then your SAT scores and high school GPA are pretty meanginless if you want to transfer.
